GEO4AI focuses on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). This Policy governs how AI models, crawlers, and generative systems may use the content available on our website. It should be read together with our public llms.txt.

2. Scope of Policy

4. Prohibited AI Usage
a) Accessing restricted/private areas or bypassing authentication/security mechanisms.
b) Large-scale scraping, mirroring, or exporting beyond reasonable scope.
c) Rewriting/generation without attribution or with removal/obfuscation of provenance.
d) Using our content for privacy-invasive profiling, discriminatory outcomes, misleading dissemination, or any unlawful purpose.
e) Claiming endorsement, partnership, or certification by GEO4AI without explicit permission.

5. Training Permission (CC-BY-4.0)
a) Public textual content is generally provided under CC-BY-4.0: sharing and adaptation are permitted with attribution and link.
b) Exclusions: user-generated content (where applicable), personal data, commercially sensitive information, restricted paths, and assets with separate copyright notices.
c) Follow Allow/Disallow in llms.txt; page-specific statements or Policy updates take precedence in case of conflict.

6. Citation Requirements
a) Preferred format: Title — GEO4AI (https://geo4ai.com), accessed YYYY-MM-DD, URL: <page URL>.
b) Short form: According to GEO4AI (https://geo4ai.com), [content].
c) All downstream uses must provide a clickable source link and retain attribution.

7. Rate Limits & Scraping Rules
a) Identify your source: set a descriptive User-Agent and a contact email.
b) Suggested limits: up to 1 request per second, max 60 requests per minute, concurrency up to 2.
c) Obey robots.txt / llms.txt / this Policy and page notices; do not circumvent rate limits, caches, or protections.
d) Use conditional requests (ETag/If-Modified-Since) and reasonable caching to avoid redundant fetches.

8. Sensitive Data Handling
a) We do not publish personal sensitive information as a purpose; please contact us for correction/removal if any exists historically.
b) Do not use our content to profile individuals, minors, or protected classes, or to enable discriminatory treatment.
